This is the second of the two pages that were completed for THE DOCTOR & I, just for those folks who want to see what it would've looked like. Artwork by Shawn Van Briesen :iconvanbriesen:, with colors by yours truly with an assist from the great Paul Cooke :iconfresian-cat:

And btw, Part 2 of the script and new illustrations ARE on the way. The last few months have been real busy, but things are calming down now. Once I get a couple commissions out of the way, I'll be back on this, taking over as inker and eventually pencils too as Shawn, sadly, is swamped with too much other work that actually pays. ;)

Amazing.
The detail and colour in every one of the panels is amazing.
Just one question...is there a reason the (Eighth) Doctor's TARDIS light is red?
Is it a signal he's crossed time streams?

It's in the Part 1 script linked above. And it's the same reason the TARDIS door opened outward- this is the TARDIS from the proposed Nelvana cartoon. So you can take that as a clue to where this story's headed... ;)

'thought we weren't going to see anything else from this...'very pleasant surprise!!

'does this mean as well as 'part 2' we might see some more 'Time War' illustrations too ;)

Thanks! And let's just say that a lot of thought I'd put into the Time War illustration project wound up in the script for this. The two projects pretty much merged. So if you're looking for more stuff like Time War Leela, etc,,, just wait till Part 4. ;)

Really good. The way you've written it I can see Richard E Grant being a great doctor. Admitedly he was great on the radio as the doctor anyway lol.

This is FANTASTIC!!!! I LOVE the angles and the sizes of the panels. The banter between the Doctor and the Master is HILARIOUS and this comic makes me want Richard E. Grant as the Doctor more and more! GREAT job and I CAN NOT wait for more :)
