Honestly my favorite is Colin Baker. I think he has a nice blend of mostly alien oddness and part human sympathy. Plus he's pretty much Bi-Polar XD. And the 'best' dressed of all canon and non-canon XD
Not sure who mine is, I do love the boyband (5, 6 and 7) but also I like 11, 8 and think 12 is utterly brilliant
tbh I don't have a Doctor I really dislike, If i'm forced to pick a fave it's probably going to be seven because Ace/Seven are a great team, Bernice Summerfield comes from this era and I look good cosplaying seven.
Seven does dress well, and there's this interesting alternate costume for him. It's the cream coat with cream pants, a light blue dress shirt, a red tie, and a Smiley-Face button on the lapel. There's a picture for it on Paul Hanley's Seventh Doctor picture.
well it was mostly the writing. For one Matt's doctor was too similar to davids but he didnt have the same charm in my opinion. I would have liked it if he was more different. Plus the storylines confused me too much to the point where i lost interest but i might watch it from the beginning of series 5 to see if i can get it this time
I look forward to whatever you decide to use the Shalka Doctor in as a fancomic. As I probably said before, I really enjoyed this version even to the point that I roleplay him from time to time, and did a crappy drawing of my own a while back. Should do a new one sometime when I get the free time.
I don't see it, but that doesn't mean it can't be true. Heck, there are some folks who subscribe to the theory that he's actually the young First Doctor (though that would take a LOT of explaining to make work) or some still-off-in-the-future incarnation.
Oooh, I faved, then your Tennant avatar told me to comment. And mum told me to never ignore the doctor's advice. What can I say? A worthy addition to your alternative Doctors series. I notice it's in aslightly different style - is this to reflect the way he appeared on screen, or does it foreshadow something else...?
You know who really didn't like him? Russell T. Davies. He completely trashed Grant's performance in an interview around the time the show came back. Then again, I think the guy was biased, as he had to establish "his" 9th Doctor as the real one. I think the poor Shalka Doc got a bad hand dealt to him- we only have one story to judge him on (and it's not even a proper regeneration/ introduction). I wouldn't much care for McCoy, McGann, or either of the Bakers if I'd only had their first stories to go on. Heck, Hartnell comes off horribly in "An Unearthly Child"- he doesn't even show a shred of likeability until about halfway through his first season. I guess what I'm saying is that we really never got a proper chance to like the REG Doctor. I still dig him though.

Yeah, I guess you're right. It's just that I find that his character wasn't very well written and I kind of felt that his character wasn't that likable. But, like you said, that's only based on one story (which I couldn't see all of because my computer is so slow,)and I guess he did have some uniqueness (which should be a word) to him.
No prob, man. I managed to get an email out to you-know-who off your friends list. Hopefully I'll hear back. I'm looking to bring in a LOT more folks on this next comic. It'll still mostly be me and Shawn, but a little help here and there from other fans would be a huge help to us (and help us make a better comic too). I'm even looking into getting a "titles sequence"- just for some multimedia fun.
