Doctor Who sketch card #09
2.5" x 3.5" ink on Bristol.

Stockbridge-born fangirl Isabelle "Izzy" Sinclair- one of the 8th Doctor's longest-running companions.

Izzy was performed (very well) by Jemima Rooper for her one appearance in the Big Finish 8th Doctor audios, so I combined her likeness with Izzy's traditional comics look to create this version.

Nicely done. I used to read the Eighth Doctor and Izzy comic strips in Doctor Who Magazine. They were good especially Tooth and Claw (not the 2006 episode).

Although Izzy is known for wearing that jacket, I actually prefer the clothes she wore in Ophidius (the colourful jacket). Pity she didn't have that as a regular costume.

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with how she turned out. And I love that since it wasn't a licensed comic I could give her some proper fangirl gear (hey, who doesn't want a Judge Death t-shirt?).
