Here's the third cover for Iris WIldthyme Series 4. Pre-order the box set straight from Big Finish: [link]

This was the darkest story of the bunch, and was uniquely challenging since it deals with a lot of abstract, non-visual ideas. That said, I did manage to slip in some fun stuff that most people probably won't catch (like the source of inspiration for Iris's new costume): [link] ;)

Here's the official blurb:

A Lift In Time

Written by David Bryher

Ever get a tune stuck in your head? Annoying, isn't it? Especially when it transforms you into a mindless, murderous zombie. After years of righting wrongs and wronging rights, is the fat lady about to sing for Iris Wildthyme? As Panda becomes the next big thing and the bus is stolen by an insane artificial intelligence, Iris’s future finally catches up with her. Ding ding, going down...

Cannot WAIT to buy the CD box set. I think they're being recorded this week!

Yep- Cavan said they're recording RIGHT NOW. Exciting! I wonder if the cowbells I added to the aliens in "Iris at the Oche" will influence the soundscape at all. I'm picturing Gary Russell doing a Christopher Walken impression: "I gotta have more cowbell!" :D

I would so love to be at the recordings! The photos from yesterday look fun and Katy is such a sweetheart. I am sure your art will influence the soundscape - I hope the cast has seen the drawings! David Ames - who was on that ill-fated double decker bus in one of the Dr Who specials- is aboard Iris' bus for these recordings- I love a bit of symmetry... :-)
